The IPPAI Chan short crossover kimono dress features a traditional quilted kimono collar, puffed shoulders and long sleeves.  It also has a fitted waist which makes for a powerful and alluring silhouette. This piece is crafted from reclaimed luminous soft gold Spanish Dupion silk.
The style presents an opulent and feminine silhouette and can be accentuated with the waist belt, and worn as a dress when closed.

A tip for washing silk at home:
After hand-washing your silk garments with cold water and an extra mild soap solution, roll them up in a clean towel, squeezing without twisting, thus extracting the moisture from the wash. You can then hang them indoors, as long as you do not use clothes pegs or leave them in direct sunlight. If you need to iron them, always iron them inside out, with the garment slightly damp and at a maximum temperature of 150º C.
